ON THE SHOW FLOOR

At International Quilt Festival/Houston, attendees can shop at more than 1,100 booths offering antique and contemporary quilts, fabrics, books, notions, patterns, sewing machines, antiques, crafts, collectibles, and more! There are also areas where attendees can enjoy many free activities including teacher demonstrations, The Learn to Quilt Booth, the Festival Quilting Bee, Festival Theatre, The Make It and Take It/Janome Sew It & Take It project areas, and more.

And returning to Festival is Make It University!™. This special section features vendors, hands-on classes, Open Artists Studios, and special exhibits in the new fabric arts of rubber stamping, paper crafts, scrapbooking, accent painting, mixed-media, and Artist Trading Cards. Make It University!™ is produced in collaboration with Cloth Paper Scissors® magazine and its editor, Patricia Bolton.

We’ll be roaming the show floor, vendor, and exhibit areas, and taking photos on-site at the George R. Brown Convention Center that we’ll post here throughout the course of Festival. Please check back!

And once again this year—vidcasts! Check back about a week after the show for exclusive video reports, tours, and interviews from the show!
