Modern Quilting Designs
by Bethany Pease

The book also teaches readers how to find inspiration for their own designs in everyday life, and translate them into fun and interesting designs.

All ‘Round Tote
from ReannaLily Designs
Retail: $9
New from ReannaLily designer Jen Eskridge—who often incorporates recycled military uniforms into her designs—this pattern pairs uniform fabric with quilter's cottons for a quick and easy-to-create tote bag. Instructions also include yardage requirements for using a more traditional fabric in place of the uniform. The finished product measures 11 inches in diameter and approximately 9 ˝ inches tall, and the tote's perfect round bottom is cleverly created by tracing—or rotary cutting—a 12” vinyl LP.
