from Dear Stella
Retail: n/a
Between last year’s Royal wedding, the recent Queen’s Jubilee, and the upcoming Summer Olympics in London, it’s no wonder some many people have caught a case of British fever lately-even the Dear Stella designers. This Brit-inspired collection is equal parts city chic (think London cityscape, double-deckers, and modern prints) and charming English countryside. Prints available in crisp red, navy, gray, and white, or warm olive, orange, gold, and cream.

from Swatch Buddies
Retail: $6.95-$22.95
Ever get home with what you think is the perfect fabric for a project only to discover that it’s...well...not such a perfect fit after all? We came across this clever solution to the problem at Market. Swatch Buddies allow users to mount fabric swatches to plastic cards and create portable swatch fans to be taken along as reference. You an easily audition fabric choices without having to drag along larger cuts of fabrics from your ongoing projects. Create a swatch fan for each of your projects, or use Swatch Buddies to identify which fabrics are contained in a hard-to-reach storage area.

by Angela Walters
Retail: $22.95
Popular professional machine quilter Angela Walters has created quite the name for herself in the quilting world-particularly within the Modern Quilt community. In this highly anticipated new book, Walters shows readers how to stitch her unique continuous-line designs-including swirls, circles, squares, vines, arcs, and points-on the longarm or domestic sewing machine. She also shares ideas and advice for creating a modern quilt using bold fabrics and negative space, and choosing the right quilting pattern for maximum visual impact.

from Cluck. Cluck. Sew.
Retail: $8.50
We love the fun and slightly funky layout of this beginner-friendly quilt pattern from Cluck. Cluck. Sew. (the creation of designer/owner Allison Harris). Tea Party uses one jelly roll or 34 assorted 2 ½" strips for the print fabrics, and finishes to 74 ½" x 82 ½", making it ideal for use on a bed. Pattern includes color illustrations, and can be purchased as a hard (printed) copy or a PDF.

from Birch Fabrics
Retail: n/a
This follow-up to last year’s first Storyboek collection by Jay-Cyn Designs (which consists of husband-and-wife design team and Birch Fabrics owners Jason Rector and Cynthia Mann) has all of the whimsy, sweet characters, and cool colors that we loved about its predecessor. Included are prints featuring storybook scenery and figures like unicorns, mermaids, and slightly less-fabled sea critters (jellyfish, octopus, turtles, and fish) and woodland creatures (rabbits, raccoons, squirrels, and foxes).
