Begin your day at Parkville Peddler’s Wagon, a quaint quilt shop nestled in the historic community of Parkville, MO that offers a knowledgeable and friendly staff experienced in quilting, embroidery, and sewing. Next up, Fabric Chic is a contemporary and specialty fabric, quilting, and sewing shop that sells high-quality quilting and garment fabrics as well as sewing materials. First City Quilts is where “Traditional” meets “Modern” with a selection of the industry’s finest fabrics, notions, patterns, books, kits, tools, and more.
Relax and taste the flavor of Kansas City with a delicious lunch at Gates Bar-B-Q before your last stop at Historic Case Park, the site at which the Lewis and Clark stayed for four days before going west towards the Colorado Rockies. This park sits atop a bluff overlooking the confluence of the Kansas and Missouri Rivers as well as the West Bottoms—once known as the French Bottoms, this early industrial area is considered Kansas City's first downtown. The Underground Railroad passed through the West Bottoms before and during the Civil War.
