QUILT ALLIANCE

The Alliance’s mission is to document, preserve, and share the history of quilts and their makers. Core projects include Quilters’ S.O.S. – Save Our Stories and Go Tell It at the Quilt Show! Our partner projects include The Quilt Index and Quilt Treasures.

QUILTS BEYOND BORDERS

Initially established to bring the warmth and comfort of quilts to orphaned and homeless children in Ethiopia, the group’s mission has expanded to provide quilts to many people in need, especially orphans and homeless children in cooler climates. Volunteers will hand out fabric kits to those who would like to make quilts at home.

Coordinated by RARE Science, this program provides one-of-a-kind stuffed bears to children suffering from a rare disease, decorated to their specific interests. RARE Science also works for fund research to find cures for these debilitating illnesses. Attendees can learn more about the program or make a bear at the booth.

RYAN’S CASE FOR SMILES
