All of us at Quilts, Inc. were excited about the results of the recent fall edition of International Quilt Market in Houston, our first show in three years!
It was wonderful to reconnect with our attendees and exhibitors and engage in the face-to-face interaction and networking that is a hallmark of the show. It’s exactly what you can’t get over a computer monitor or cell phone. I know I saw many tearful reunions in the aisles, and the four days of the show were like a big family reunion for everyone who came to Houston. There was a buzz and energy all around!
As we continue to build back our shows post-pandemic, we will reintroduce the spring edition of Quilt Market in 2024, with dates and a location to be announced in the coming months.
We are seriously considering a lot of feedback we’ve received and our own ideas about how to improve and advance the only trade show specifically for the quilting and soft crafts industry. And we plan on introducing new aspects to the show to make it even more valuable for our wholesalers, shop and online store owners, teachers, and industry professionals.
We will hold our fall edition of Quilt Market in 2023, from October 28-30 (with Schoolhouse and Sample Spree on October 27) at our usual home of the George R. Brown Convention Center.
And while we won’t be together in the spring of next year, the spirit of the season of renewal will be in full force in 2024. We hope that you’ll join us for one or both of the shows.
I hope that everyone reading this has a wonderful holiday season, and that 2023 proves to be both profitable and valuable for your business!
Sincerely,

Karey Bresenhan
