General Information

Paid workers are called Show Assistants and work over the 13 days of Market and Festival­ in various positions. Show Assistants earn $9 an hour, receive free entry on workdays, parking reimbursement up to $30, and again this year, will earn $12 an hour for takedown on the last Sunday of the show. If you are willing to stay until the end of the shift on Sunday around 10:30pm, Quilts, Inc. will provide dinner.

Shifts run from 3.5 to 7 hours, depending on the position. The job descriptions are listed in the Show Assistant Handbook.  We require that you work at least two shifts over the 13 days. Shifts are assigned on a first come, first served basis, so please send in at least 3 choices a day.
