This technique is very much like piecing together a jigsaw puzzle. Raw-edge fusible appliqué is used, leaving a negative space between each piece. The background fabric can be any color, but if black is used the piece will have a wonderful stained glass look. With this technique, students can continue to use what they have learned with any line drawing. There are two different patterns available in class.
