Creating and hand stitching your own piece of fabric art can be so rewarding. Learn the symbolism of violets in the language of flowers. On a pre-pieced background (provided), apply the first layer of laces, trims, ribbons, etc. Learn how dissecting lace and glue basting will speed up the process. The second layer includes using the following techniques—rolled roses, button spoked roses, Backstitch, bead loops, Bullion violets, folded roses, and the Lazy Daisy. The process is stress-free when you apply one layer at a time. Plenty of ideas to add to other projects and use tidbits you have hoarded. Making a piecing pattern and dying lace will be discussed.
